Half a century ago, Balbuena Gardens was developed as a mixed density, middle class neighborhood in the eastern part of Mexico City. Our design of this new development, on an empty 392 m2 lot, responded to demands for compact housing with parking, efficient interior spaces, common recreational areas, and security. We provided a solution by designing for maximum density while preserving the independence of each dwelling. The complex is comprised of 9 independent homes (90m2) on three levels with an open common area.
